Application Procedure

1. Secure employment with a Spanish employer. 2. Employer obtains a work authorization from the Spanish Ministry of Labour. 3. Apply for a work visa at the Spanish embassy or consulate. 4. Upon arrival, apply for a Foreigner Identity Card (TIE) at the local immigration office. 5. Register with social security and obtain an NIE (tax identification number).
